Why Rishi Sunak should put an end to England's stamp duty holiday romance

So maybe Sunak should spend the stamp duty revenue helping sectors of the economy that haven’t grown by 8.5% in the past year? Not because it would be nice to have restaurants and pubs and cinemas and museums and actual physical shops on high streets in towns where it’s pleasant to live.

The Batfish currently cannot be boarded due to 2019 flood damage, and while some nice interior appearance improvements have been made to the Museum, the necessary management of the Museum is non-existent.�.

A “Mini Storage Depot” sign recently went up on property on Concord Parkway just north of the Backin’ Up Classics Museum and the old go-cart track. I saw some nice looking buildings on the company website, but it general mini-storage is pretty ugly. Let’s hope for the nice looking kind ... .
